Jermin Summer, a 37-year-old labourer of South Vryheidβs Lust, East Coast Demerara, has been charged with Felonious Wounding, contrary to Section 57(a) of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act, Chapter 08:01.
The alleged offence was committed on a 40-year-old construction worker of South Vryheid, East Coast Demerara, on Sunday February 1, 2026, at Vryheidβs Lust, East Coast Demerara.
He appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrateβs Court on Thursday February 12, 2026 before Senior Magistrate Clive Nurse, where the charge was read to him.
He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000 GYD). The matter was adjourned to March 19, 2026.
