President Ali sworn in for second term – sets sail towards a future of unity and transformation
His Excellency President Dr Irfaan Ali was sworn in for a second term today at State House, where he renewed his pledge to unity, inclusion, and national transformation.
During his inauguration speech, the 9th Executive President of Guyana declared the next five years to be the most consequential in Guyana’s history and called on every citizen to join him in building a future defined not only by resources but also by opportunity, dignity, and shared purpose.
“Today, I recommit myself to that unity. I pledge to be a President for every community, every sector, every Guyanese.”
