𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐌

GPF || Several employees of the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) are assisting the Police in relation to a report of Simple Larceny involving the sum of approximately $5 million (Guyana currency), property of GECOM.

A small fraction of the stolen money was recovered by detectives, which was in the possession of an Assistant Accounts Clerk, who is in Police custody.

The probe is ongoing.
