— Charlestown Man in Custody
Around 11:15 hrs today (September 23, 2025), police ranks carried out an intelligence-led operation and intercepted a Toyota Axio bearing registration number PAF 744, driven by Travis Alleyne of Russell Street, Charlestown.
A search of Alleyne revealed a Glock pistol with one magazine concealed in the front left pocket of his pants. Officers then searched the vehicle and discovered another magazine inside a black one-strap bag.
Alleyne was immediately arrested and taken to the Ruimveldt Police Station as investigations continue.
