Child Allegedly Struck by Teacher’s Vehicle in Leonora Primary School Compound
The aunt of a young student has alleged that the child was struck by a vehicle driven by a teacher within the compound of the Leonora Primary School.
According to Melissa Banwarie, the incident occurred yesterday when her nephew was hit by the teacher’s car. She claims the teacher has refused to accept responsibility, instead suggesting that the child should not have been running in the schoolyard.
Banwarie further stated that the teacher reportedly offered to replace the child’s damaged school clothes but indicated she would not provide any compensation for the incident.
The child’s relative is calling for accountability.
