Police are investigating the tragic death of 9-year-old Levon Collins, a pupil of Kildonan Primary School, who reportedly succumbed to injuries sustained during an altercation with his 15-year-old female cousin.The incident occurred approximately two weeks ago as Collins was riding his bicycle to his aunt’s home. When the bicycle chain slipped, he stopped to fix it. At that moment, the teen cousin—who was walking behind him—allegedly pushed him. After Collins asked her not to repeat the act, she reportedly pushed him again, threw the bicycle at him, and continued to stomp him as he lay injured on the ground.Collins was first treated at the Port Mourant Hospital and later transferred to the New Amsterdam Hospital as his condition deteriorated. He was admitted to the ICU and then moved to the children’s ward.On Saturday, November 22, the child began vomiting blood and died shortly after in his mother’s arms.Authorities have launched a full investigation into the incident.
