Police in Regional Division #10 are probing a shooting incident that occurred around 22:30 hrs on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Lover’s Lane, Central Amelia’s Ward, Linden, leaving two men injured.
According to initial investigations, a 32-year-old vendor of Central Amelia’s Ward was standing in front of his shop while a 36-year-old carpenter from South Amelia’s Ward was walking nearby. At that moment, a motor car reportedly drove up and stopped close to them, after which an occupant of the vehicle allegedly opened fire in their direction.
The vendor sustained a gunshot wound to the chest, while the carpenter was shot in the foot. Both were transported to the Linden Hospital Complex, where they received medical attention.
The vendor has since been transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation for further treatment, while the carpenter remains at the Linden Hospital Complex. Their conditions have been listed as stable.
No arrests have been made as investigations continue.
