Three persons linked to the October 26 bombing at the Mobil Gas Station on Regent and King Streets were again remanded on Monday, as the case continues to move slowly through the courts.

Venezuelan national Jennifer Rodriguez, along with Guyanese nationals Wayne Correia, 44, and 51-year-old Ramesh Pramdeo, made their second appearance—this time before Magistrate Alisha George at the Leonora Magistrates’ Court. All three are jointly charged with terrorism, accused of aiding and abetting the deadly blast. Correia and Pramdeo were represented by attorney Bernard Da Silva.

Da Silva told the court that full disclosure had been expected, but the prosecution reported that it was still not ready. The matter was pushed to December 17 for disclosure.

While these three await their next hearing, the prime accused, 33-year-old Venezuelan Daniel Alexander Ramirez Poedemo, remains on remand along with co-accused Venezuelan nationals Alexander Bettancourt and Krystal LaCruz, and Guyanese national Johnny Boodram. Their matter is set to continue on December 3, 2025, also for further disclosures.

Poedemo is separately charged with carrying out the act of terrorism on October 26, when an explosive device detonated at the Mobil station, killing six-year-old Soraya Bourne. He was not required to enter a plea to the indictable offence.

Bettancourt, LaCruz, and Boodram are jointly accused of aiding Poedemo in the attack. They too were not required to enter pleas. Only Boodram had legal representation when the group first appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court earlier this month.

All accused remain behind bars as the investigations and disclosures continue.
