A post-mortem has confirmed that nine-year-old Levon Collins died from shock and haemorrhage caused by a ruptured spleen.
The Nurney Village, Region 6 child passed away on November 22 at the New Amsterdam Hospital, days after an alleged assault involving a 15-year-old female cousin in Kildonan Village. Police said the teen, a school dropout from the area, is under investigation as the probe continues. Authorities are yet to determine if charges are to be laid.
