A fire on Saturday afternoon destroyed a nursery school housed in the East Ruimveldt Community Centre.
Based on information reaching Sheriff News Network, the fire started at about 17:00 hrs. Firefighters were summoned, and they managed to extinguish the blaze.
The Guyana Fire Service (GFS) has launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
