Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, Hon. Susan Rodrigues, today participated in the official opening of the new Courts location at Vreed-en-Hoop, Region Three, where she had the honour of cutting the ceremonial ribbon to declare the establishment officially open to the public.The new store, operated by Unicomer Guyana, represents a significant investment in the rapidly expanding West Demerara corridor, bringing greater access to quality furniture, appliances, and customer-focused services to residents of Region Three and surrounding communities. The modern facility is also expected to create employment opportunities while supporting increased commercial activity along the West Bank Demerara.Delivering remarks at the ceremony, Minister Rodrigues commended Unicomer for its continued confidence in Guyana’s economic trajectory and its commitment to expanding its footprint to better serve communities beyond Georgetown.
