A group of Diamond/Grove residents gathered at the crack of dawn in front of the New Diamond Grove Primary School to paint a pedestrian crossing.

This act was a true demonstration of political service done through practical action that improves people’s lives with lasting benefits for the community.

The newly-painted pedestrian crossing ensures safety for children, teachers, parents, and all visitors to the school.

As we continue to build our nation one good deed at a time, it is important that groups across Guyana unite in service to their communities and take up the task of improving their surroundings however they can.
