Angoy’s Avenue resident jailed four years for possession of narcotics
Angoy’s Avenue resident Kevin Walton, 26, was sentenced to four years in prison for trafficking cannabis worth $9.1 million.
The sentencing occurred at Mahaicony Magistrates Court, presided over by Magistrate Allan Wilson.

During a police operation at Harmony Hall, officers discovered the narcotics hidden in three garbage bags in the trunk of Walton’s vehicle after initially not finding anything illegal during a search of the car’s interior.
Walton admitted to ownership of the drugs while claiming the female passenger had no knowledge of them.
Following the presentation of evidence, Walton was charged and fined $500,000 and sentenced him to four years imprisonment.
Magistrate Wilson advised him to reflect on his life while in prison.
