Family members are seeking urgent public assistance in locating an elderly woman who has gone missing.
The woman, known as Rita, affectionately called “Grams,” reportedly left her home in Mon Repos, De Endragt North, East Coast Demerara, since this morning and has not returned.
Relatives say Rita sometimes suffers from memory lapses and may become disoriented, including forgetting her way home. Her disappearance is causing serious concern for her safety.
Anyone who may have seen Rita or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact 609-7475 or 645-8601 immediately.
The family is appealing to the public to share this information and assist in ensuring that Rita returns home safely.
