Four individuals are now contemplating their next move after a devastating fire destroyed their home on Sunday.
In an interview with the media, Jennifer Lanchan, 21, of Lot 108, Shieldstown, West Bank Berbice (WBB), explained that she was occupying the one-bedroom house with her husband, Junior Nathaniel, a carpenter, and their two children, aged 2 years and 8 months.

According to Lanchan, around 17:30 hours, she left home to meet her husband, a stone’s throw away. She said that while she was on her way, she received the tragic news.
Lanchan stated that she had a fully furnished house, and all her belongings were destroyed.
Lanchan mentioned that a few days ago, they changed a 1000-watt transformer in their house, and she is uncertain if that might have caused the fire.

Nathaniel added, “Me asking for lil assistance to build back.”
