Free University Access for All Police Officers
President Irfaan Ali today revealed that discussions were held on how to further professionalise the Guyana Police Force (GPF) and support career development within the body. The talks focused on making the GPF more agile, competitive, and grounded in values such as academic achievement, opportunity, fairness, and accountability. As part of this push, the government is offering police officers at every rank the opportunity to pursue Degrees, Diplomas, and Master’s programmes free of cost.
