The Keep Your Five Alive Football Tournament returns for its 11th year, promising to be bigger, bolder, and more exhilarating than ever.

Spearheaded by visionary founder and organizer Kevin Adonis and proudly supported by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, this year’s tournament is poised to raise the bar in local football and unite the nation’s best talent as teams from across Guyana battle for football supremacy.

With over $5.5 million in cash and prizes at stake, teams from across Guyana are gearing up for what is expected to be the fiercest competition yet. Adonis announced that monetary prizes will be handed out to winners of each match, with additional incentives recognising sportsmanship and punctuality.

In celebration of its 11-year legacy, Adonis also announced a special fan appreciation initiative: the first 11 patrons at every match will be admitted free – a nod to the tournament’s milestone.

Backed by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, the Keep Your Five Alive Football Tournament is now cemented as a premier fixture on Guyana’s national sports calendar.

Adonis extended heartfelt gratitude to Minister Charles Ramson for his support of youth development and homegrown athleticism.

“The passion for football in Guyana is unmatched, and this tournament continues to fuel that fire. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and we’re excited for what’s ahead,” said Adonis.

The countdown begins on July 4 at the National Gymnasium, with additional games on July 11, 18, and 25. The action then shifts to the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on August 1, 8, and 22.

Team captains interested in registering can contact Adonis directly at +592-690-2006.

This year’s tournament is made possible thanks to the generous support of KFC, Fireside Grill and Chill, Star Party Rentals, Suri Trading, and 94.1 BOOM FM, alongside the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport—all coming together to celebrate 11 years of football excellence.
