Leadership dismissed critical data ahead of elections – Low
People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) member Elson Low has blamed the party’s leadership for ignoring crucial analysis ahead of the recent elections, which ended in a historic defeat.
Low explained that he had presented his numbers and position to the leadership before the polls, but said they chose not to act on the information. Looking back, he admitted he regrets not pressing harder.
According to him, he should have been more forceful in making his case, even if it meant raising his voice. He said the party’s definition of leadership was misguided and only added to mistakes already being made.
Low stressed that he does not support the leadership style that has dominated the party, noting that it contributed heavily to the loss.
