Police in Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam) are investigating the death of 40-year-old Heion Ramnauth, whose body was discovered partially submerged in a koker at Cullen, Essequibo Coast, early Sunday morning.
Ramnauth, of Cullen, Essequibo, was reported missing on Saturday, October 11, 2025. His body was discovered the following morning in the early hours.
It is alleged that Ramnauth had been a psychiatric patient for several years and was under regular monthly medical supervision.
An investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
