A 34-year-old Golden Grove, East Coast Demerara (ECD) woman, who was reported missing a few days ago, has been found dead in French Guiana.
The dead woman has been identified as Coretta Blair Sandy, also known as ‘Mindy.’
Based on information gathered by this publication, Sandy and her husband, Terrence Glasgow, recently travelled to French Guiana.
However, as of Wednesday, June 11, family members were unable to reach the 34-year-old woman.
Her husband returned to Guyana and reportedly told his mother-in-law that he and Sandy were involved in a shooting. He claimed that Sandy was fatally shot in the head, and he was unaware of the location where the incident occurred.
On Sunday, police in French Guiana located the woman’s lifeless body not far from the house where she and her husband were staying.
