This morning, Acting Chief Justice Navindra Singh dismissed the application seeking a stay of the extradition proceedings against Nazar Mohamed and his son, Azruddin Mohamed, without awarding any costs.
With the stay denied, the extradition hearing is set to begin tomorrow before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman.
Meanwhile, the High Court will reconvene on January 14, 2026, to hear the substantive application, which involves questions of constitutional significance.
