One of Azruddin Mohamed’s wives was fined a total of $270,000 after pleading guilty to several traffic offences when she appeared before the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
The defendant, Nadia Mohamed, 45, of Lot 275 Barrow Street, Republic Park, East Bank Demerara, and driver of motor car PAB 4000, appeared before Her Worship Shavani Lalaram in Court #7, where the charges were read to her.
Mohamed pleaded guilty to all the offences and was fined as follows:
Obscured Identification Mark – $150,000
Unlicensed Motor Vehicle – $15,000
Uninsured Motor Vehicle – $50,000
Prohibition of Tinted Glass – $20,000
Uncertified Motor Vehicle – $35,000
She was ordered to pay the total fine of $270,000.
