Police Update: Lola Doll’s Condition Improving Following Shooting
Guyanese social media personality and recording artiste Lolita Callendar, popularly known as “Lola Doll,” is said to be in an improving condition following a shooting incident outside her home in Texas Square, East Ruimveldt, Georgetown, on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at around 23:35 hrs.
Police confirmed that doctors have reported positive progress in Callendar’s recovery. Investigators were also able to interview her as part of ongoing inquiries.
Meanwhile, the first suspect who was arrested in connection with the incident has since been released on $500,000 bail after the 72-hour detention period expired. He has also been placed under reporting conditions.
Another suspect, Paul Daby Jr., also known as “Randell,” remains in custody.
Investigations are ongoing.
