President Irfaan Ali has called for an immediate change to the 4pm goods intake policy at the Corriverton Market.
President Ali, who was addressing scores of residents at the time at an outreach in Corriverton, demanded to know why vendors are restricted to this timeframe and stated that anyone obstructing this request should be removed from their role.
President Ali said, “It must be fixed, adding that”a public notice must be displayed in front of the market so that no Lord or individuals who believe they are Lords can alter that notice here at the market.” That’s absolutely ridiculous. Our job is to support and help people.”
President Ali also mentioned that the Ministry of Local Government is tasked with assessing market conditions nationwide.
