Foreign Secretary Robert Persaud joined leaders, experts, and Guyanese professionals in New York for the Diaspora Forum, New York Edition, hosted by ExxonMobil and ACE Consulting Group.
During the high-level discussion, Persaud underscored how vital the diaspora is to opening new investment channels, supporting Guyana’s development priorities, and driving the country’s long-term vision for a resilient and sustainable 2050.
The forum also examined emerging opportunities, particularly Berbice’s transformation into a major industrial hub, while creating space for meaningful collaboration between the government, private sector and the wider diaspora community.
