A group of young Guyanese, including a current APNU NDC councillor and former members of the PNC and AFC, has expressed support for the policies and development agenda of the PPP/C Government following an engagement with Vice President Dr Bharrat Jagdeo.
Ricky Ramroop, MP, and Ravoldo Birbal were among those who met with Jagdeo during the engagement.
The group expressed its desire to work with the Government and contribute meaningfully to the continued development of their communities and Guyana.
Those attending included Trevon Chichester, a current APNU NDC councillor; former PNC members Ewart Nacimento and Damion Dummett; and former AFC members Nicketa Ward, Abigail Rodney and Damion James.
Also present were Mahindra Ishri, Pharamdai Roberts, Rajendra Rambarran, Keiton Holder, Kenswell Dejonge and Murwin Allison.
The meeting comes amid continued political realignment, with some young political activists and former opposition members publicly indicating their willingness to support and work alongside the PPP/C Government on development initiatives
