Richard Stanton to lead One Communications as Damian Blackburn moves to Chairman role
ATN International (ATNI) has announced a strategic leadership transition with Richard Stanton assuming leadership of the company’s Guyana operations, following Damian Blackburn’s appointment as Chairman of the Board for ATN’s international businesses.
Effective July 1, 2025, Blackburn, President of International Operations and CEO of One Communications Guyana, will shift to a broader strategic role as Chairman and Strategic Advisor to ATN International.
In this capacity, Blackburn will oversee ATN’s international operations, strengthen key partnerships, and guide corporate development across the organisation.
Stanton, who previously served as Deputy CEO in Guyana, will now lead One Communications Guyana’s operations. His leadership is expected to sustain the company’s growth momentum and elevate service quality in the competitive telecommunications market.
Brad Martin, CEO of ATN International, expressed confidence in the leadership change: “Damian’s visionary leadership over the past four years has been crucial in transforming our Guyana business. We are excited to have him provide strategic insight globally, while Richard Stanton’s proven capabilities ensure we continue driving growth and service excellence locally.”
