𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒉𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝑴𝒐𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒅 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑴𝒖𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒏 𝒁𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒖𝒈𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓; 𝑹𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒐𝒏

GPF: Shaheed Mohamed, a 23-year-old farmer of Zeelugt New Scheme, East Bank Essequibo and Providence, East Bank Demerara has been charged with Murder, contrary to Common Law.

Mohamed was arrested on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in relation to the Zeelugt murder investigation.

He appeared today, Tuesday June 9, 2026, before Her Worship Magistrate Alisha George at the Leonora Magistrate’s Court, where the indictable charge was read to him.

He was not required to plead and was remanded to prison.The matter was adjourned to July 20, 2026.
