Parmandan Ramlall, also known as ‘Sunny,’ of Lot 151 Block 12 Non-Pareil, East Coast Demerara (ECD), has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for simple larceny.
Ramlall, 39, was sentenced by Senior Magistrate Sunil Scarce in the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court after he pleaded guilty to the charge.
According to the Guyana Police Force (GPF), Ramlall committed the offence on Tavel Accra, a 47-year-old contractor from Enterprise Gardens, between June 2 and 3, 2025.
The 39-year-old man was arrested by a police officer from Vigilance Police Station on June 6, 2025, and subsequently charged.
